Heart-Wing Sorrel/Hastate Leaf Dock

Hastate Leaf Dock
Rumex hastatulus Baldwin ex Elliot

"The narrow fruiting panicles or branching racemes of this dicecious weed are often 3-4 dm long on slender stalks 5-10 dm tall. This perennial often forms rather showy masses in old sandy fields of central and northern Florida and, on the coastal plain, into Mississippi and the Carolinas" (Bell & Taylor, 1982, p. 143).
