Beach Breakfast Casserole

6 hard-boiled eggs, sliced
Salt and pepper to taste
1 pound hot bulk sausage
1 1/2 cups sour cream
1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
1 1/2 cups grated Cheddar cheese

Place eggs in 2 quart buttered casserole and season to taste. Cook sausage, drain and sprinkle over eggs. Pour sour cream over sausage. Combine crumbs and cheese. Sprinkle over casserole. Bake in a 325 degree oven for 20 minutes or until cheese topping is melted and brown. Serve hot.
